Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RestOS platform (the “Service”), operated by DevzoraTech Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

RestOS is a multi-tenant restaurant management platform comprising:

  • RestOS Admin — a web-based dashboard for restaurant owners and managers
  • RestOS Waiter — a mobile application for waitstaff
  • RestOS Kitchen — a mobile application for kitchen staff

The Service provides ordering, kitchen display, staff management, attendance tracking, scheduling, analytics, and related operational tools for restaurant businesses.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One organization account per legal entity; sub-accounts for staff are managed by the organization administrator

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Plans and Pricing

The Service is offered under tiered subscription plans (Starter, Professional, Enterprise). Pricing is published on our website and may be updated with 30 days' prior notice. A 14-day free trial is available for new organizations.

4.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • Payment is processed through our authorized payment providers (Stripe, mobile money)
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension after a 7-day grace period
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written consent
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond approved API usage
  • Falsify attendance records or manipulate GPS data

6. Data Ownership

  • Your data: You retain all rights to data you input into the Service (menus, orders, staff information, etc.). We do not claim ownership of your content.
  • Our platform: We retain all rights to the Service itself, including software, design, and proprietary technology.
  • Aggregated data: We may use anonymized, aggregated data for improving the Service and for statistical purposes.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our reasonable control (force majeure, third-party service failures, internet outages).

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is the intellectual property of DevzoraTech Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your active subscription.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate data input by users

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms, fail to pay fees, or engage in activities that harm the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will provide reasonable opportunity to export your data before permanent deletion.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DevzoraTech Ltd and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Kampala, Uganda, or through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Uganda.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
